Rapid Wolf is a website design studio run by a sole trader, based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. Contact: hello@rapidwolf.co.uk.
What this page is: the plain-English version of how we work with clients — the same rules that appear in our Client Contract (Web Development Services), which you sign when a project starts. If a signed contract and this page ever disagree, the contract wins.
1. What we do
We design, build and launch websites, and larger web systems, for small businesses. What gets built is defined in your signed proposal and design brief — anything beyond it is quoted separately on a Change Order form before any work happens, so there are no surprise invoices.
2. Timing
Projects start when the deposit and your content/brand assets land. Build slots and launch dates are agreed in writing — delays providing feedback or materials move the launch date, and we'll tell you plainly when they do.
3. Payment
Your project starts when the 50% deposit lands — that books your build slot. The remaining 50% is due on launch approval, and the site goes live and hands over once the balance clears. Where offered, pay-in-full or Klarna Pay-in-3 (interest-free, subject to Klarna's check at checkout) settle the exact same price — the 50/50 split stays the default route. No VAT applies to any figure — we're not VAT-registered. Late payments may accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Revisions
One to three structured rounds of revisions during the staging review, depending on your package (Gamma 1 · Beta 2 · Alpha 3), included before launch. Bigger changes after that are quoted via a Change Order form — agreed and priced before, never after.
5. Defects
Bugs or broken things present at launch get fixed free if reported within the package's fix window — 30 days (Gamma) / 90 days (Beta & Alpha) of go-live. New content, features or design changes aren't defects — those are change orders.
6. Ownership
When the final payment clears, everything is yours: every line of code, every asset, the analytics property. We hand it over complete — your site, your code, your Google presence. We keep the right to show finished work in our portfolio unless you tell us in writing not to.
7. Hosting and third parties
Your site is delivered as static files on a zero-monthly-cost hosting tier — no monthly platform fee, ever, and traffic volume doesn't change that. If a provider ever changes its free terms or your site outgrows them, any upgrade is arranged direct between you and the provider (we'll help — we just don't invoice for platform costs). You keep your own domain registration as the named owner. Any care plan is a separate optional agreement for our time — never a hosting charge.
8. Ending early
Either side can end the agreement with written notice. If a project ends early, completed work up to that point is paid for.
9. The law
Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10. Talk to a person
Questions about any of it — hello@rapidwolf.co.uk. It gets read by the person you'll actually be working with.
